There are things you can do that will keep you on top of your life (therefore the dating game). So you can keep feeling good about yourself! When you love yourself, dating and love gets easier. When your self-esteem grows, relationship struggles fade into the distance.
Confidence and compassion for yourself is crucial to have healthy self-esteem
When you are dating someone, your boundaries can become blurred because you don’t want to screw up yet another relationship.
However, there are some things you can do to keep your boundaries clear it helps you love yourself. When you know what’s good for you, that will help you stay in a good feeling place! And it will keep the relationship you have with yourself and others— healthy and fun!
1. Focus on your nose
Take time out of every day to meditate. There are so many ways you can do this. Focus on your breath, your nose, a candle, your eyes, the inside of your eyelids, or your third eye and let the thoughts float away.
Breathe in and out of your nose and if thoughts come up,
just know that they are only thoughts and they won’t stay in your mind forever. Come back to your nose and come back to your breath.
Let the thoughts come and come back to your breath.
If more thoughts arise, don’t try to make them go away, just let them be and then come back to focus on breathing in and out. When you start to meditate, it might seem like an eternity, but when you get into the bliss zone, 15 minutes will seem like nothing.
2. Pull your own hair
If you are sitting all day in the office make sure and give your sitting bones a good release and stretch, (especially before a date).
Pull your shoulders back, tuck your pelvis in and straighten your back. Be aware of your posture and don’t be afraid to let your body move. When fear or low self-confidence grips people, their heads can hang low and their posture will be slouchy.
Pretend you have a hair in the center and top of your head that is pulling you straight up toward the sky. Practice good posture in the mirror. What does it look like to you? If you have bad posture, you might feel cocky or weird because your muscles aren’t used to being positioned properly.
Keep your head held high. If you are working on building your self-esteem, carrying yourself with good posture, will make you seem more confident automatically and people will notice.
Being aware of your posture posture is a great habit that will blend into your dating life and make you look and be more confident with yourself and men.
3. Figure out what makes you feel fantastic
Do whatever you have to do to take care of you, first. When you practice self-love it will make you feel like a Goddess and men will crave to be with you.
Hang out with your friends and paint your nails. If your house is messy, clean it up. Having a nice space to relax in will make a big difference in your life too.
